FDM3D on OpenEM.org

... a place to discuss matters concerning use and development of the 3D finite difference/volume code FDM3D hosted on the OpenEM.org SVN server.  Once logged in, registered OpenEM users will find under the menu item "Software Repository" a link for download instructions.  Users and developers should cite the following reference for a description of software internals and test calculations (at least for the CSEM case).

revision 11

Revision 11 of the 3D modeling code FDM3D is now available from the OpenEM SVN server.  Improvements include plane wave sources for 3D MT modeling.  In addition to the usual fdm3d.out file containing field values for a given forward solve, code also provides output of MT and magnetic transfer functions for conjugate pairs of forward solves.

Hello, How can I get the software or a ready benchmark?

Hello,

How can I get the software or a ready computed benchmark?

Say, for magnetic or electric dipole transmitter-receiver?

Thank you,

Sofia
